On 04th December 1.999, Ibiza was declared " World Heritage " by the UNESCO, recognising the worldwide significance of the culture and natural resources of the largest of the " Pitiusas " islands.

The walled city of " Dalt Vila ", the necropolis of " Es Puig d,es Molins ", the Phoeniacian village of " Sa Caleta " and the fields of posidonias ( seaweeds ) are the four assets declared World Heritage due to their authenticity, technical perfection, exceptional aspects and excellent state of preservation, features that the UNESCO has praised in order to ensure it,s good conservation.

Not only does Ibiza have a great deal of artistic & cultural heritage, it,s also remarkable for it,s rural areas & the beauty of it,s countryside.

All surrounded by over 32 Km. of beaches, wich allow visitors to choose the atmosphere, the winds & the kind of activities in each area they wish practice of isolated beaches, sports, wild or quiet beaches, those with deep waters or else shallow waters where children can bathe safely.

The quaint towns and villages celebrate fiestas on their saints days and religious festivals with ibicenco folk singing and dancing.
