Recommendations
We recommend you that at the start of the day the first thing you should find out, before choosing a beach, is the direction of the wind.
If you are looking for a calm sea, go to the opposite side of the island from the direction the wind is coming from, the " leeward " side in seaman,s language. On the other hand, if you want a sea with greater movement, more appropriate for certain sports, go towards the part of the coast where the wind is coming from, the " windward " in the language of the sea.
