The beaches of Ibiza and Formentera are one of the great attractions of the Mediterranean sea : heavely secluded corners, transparents waters, vegetation stretching down the coastline itself, clean sands ...
Fringedwith pine trees and palms, right down beaches
As well as:Fertile alluvial plains, covered withtypical Mediterranean vegetacionsuch asalmond trees, pine trees, carob trees, fig trees, orange trees ...
We recommend you that at the start of the day the first thing you should find out, before choosing a beach, is the direction of the wind.
If you are looking for a calm sea, go to the opposite side of the island from the direction the wind is coming from, the " leeward " side in seaman,s language. On the other hand, if you want a sea with greater movement, more appropriate for certain sports, go towards the part of the coast where the wind is coming from, the " windward " in the language of the sea.
